João V gold 20000 Reis 1727-M UNC Details (Reverse Repaired) NGC, Minas Gerais mint, KM116, LMB-251. The famous Dobrão, an issue believed to be one of, if not the, largest gold coins struck for circulation purposes. A crisp piece, boasting lots of mint bloom across the bold peripheries, with only a curious condition qualifier that prevented it from a Mint State grade--on the reverse, to the right of the cross, there seems to be a rim filing point that was later repaired by reconstructing the tulips of the edge, making it a more affordable example that does not lack eye appeal.
