Angola Banco De Angola 1000 Angolares 1.3.1952 Pick 86a PMG Choice Very Fine 35 EPQ. At the time of cataloging, this note is one of only four issued notes graded in the PMG Population Report. The 1940s and 1950s Banco de Angola series is widely collected, with this highest denomination missing from most collections. Of importance, this is not a serial number 1 note, but rather, a regularly issued banknote that has thankfully been saved for posterity. Standard circulation is present, and EPQ status confirms originality. One of only a few examples known, and this note should see spirited bidding as such. The first we have offered in issued form.
