IONIA. Miletus. Ca. 600-550 BC. AE/EL fourree 1/12 stater or hemihecte (7mm, 1.15 gm). NGC Choice VF 4/5 - 3/5, core visible. Ancient forgery of Milesian standard. Forepart of lion left with extended foreleg / Quatrefoil incuse with stellate pattern. Cf. SNG Kayhan 449 for prototype. Rosen 275.
