Charles III 8 Reales 1767 LM-JM MS61 NGC, Lima mint, KM-A64.2, cf. Elizondo-19 (two dot variety pictured), Grunthal/Sellschopp-Unl. Variety with one dot above Lima mintmark. Generally a rather available date and variety, though one that rapidly increases in scarcity when located in undeniably Mint State preservation, with just a single MS63 ranking finer at NGC. Indeed, aside from a few stray hairlines detectable only under close scrutiny, the surfaces appear almost satiny, and positively beam with luster.
