Louis XV gold Louis d'Or Mirliton 1724-H UNC Details (Saltwater Damage) NGC, La Rochelle mint, KM470.8, Gad-339 (R), Dup-1638. Large palms variety. Handsome, and very likely more attractive than either of the specimens present in the Ford sale, with crisp details rendered from lightly rusted dies. Fully laudable, and one of the more attractive survivors we have been able to locate.
