James I gold 1/4 Laurel ND (1623-1624) AU53 NGC, Tower mint, mm not visible, Third coinage, S-2642B, N-2119. 2.21gm. Variety with beaded inner circle on both sides. A sharp specimen, bearing clear devices and antique gold toning. Misattributed by NGC on the insert as S-2642 while the beaded inner circles are the decisive indicative of type S-2642B.
