Spanish Colony. Isabel II Counterstamped 8 Reales ND (1834-1837) VF35 NGC, KM108, Basso-56. C/S (XF Strong). Type 6 Crowned "YII" Counterstamp upon Chile "Volcano" Peso, 1834 SANTIAGO-IJ. A popular countermarked issue showcasing evenly patinated steel surfaces and soft iridescent highlights gripping the reverse legends. Lightly handled to the obverse, while the reverse reveals isolated light scratches insufficient to warrant a Details designation.
