Elizabeth II Proof "V.I.P." 5 Shillings (Crown) 1960 PR66 NGC, KM909, S-4143. V.I.P. issue. Mintage: 30-50 struck. British Exhibition "VIP" issue, distinguished by a deep strike and high, squared-off rims. The occurrence of two high-quality examples of this issue in the same sale should by no means be mistaken for wide attainability, as this fleeting variant saw only up to a few dozen examples struck in total, making two gems in the same sale an unusual event!
