Ph'S: DЄI: GRΛ: DVX: BVRG: Z: COMЄ | S: FLΛИDRIЄ (double saltire stops), armored knight on horseback galloping right and brandishing sword; in exergue: x FLΛD' x / + SIT: nOMЄИ: DOMIИI: BЄИЄDICTVM: ΛMЄИ (briquet) (double saltire stops), Burgundian arms with inescutcheon of Flanders superimposed on a cross fleurée. A pristine example of this early hammered type, expertly struck and crowned by sunny, still lustrous, fields.
