A classical emission in Chinese numismatics and always popular when found at auction, even more so located in Choice Mint State and finer. Dressed in a luxurious gunmetal patination tinged with gently iridescent silhouettes to the outer registers. In terms of technical quality, the piece exceeds expectation, with only the occasional, isolated instance of haymarking to the exceptionally lustrous low-lying fields to limit the assigned grade. Fully appreciable as a type and worthy of in-hand inspection.
