Malaya Board of Commissioners of Currency 50 Dollars 1.1.1942 (ND 1945) Pick 14 KNB14a PMG Very Fine 30. The gigantic 50, 100, and 1000 Dollar notes dated 1942 were not officially issued until late 1945, when the British were finally able to regain control of the colony from the Japanese forces. The sheer size and high face value of this denomination prevented most from being saved. Seldom seen are examples as clean as this one. Only standard circulation is present. Examples are rare with such a good eye appeal.
