Malaya Board of Commissioners of Currency 10 Cents 15.8.1940 Pick 2 KNB1a PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ. The outbreak of World War II created a second shortage of silver coins, and in Malaya, the value of the metals outstripped the face value. As such, a second round of small change notes were created. Printed locally, 10 cents and 25 cents denominations were issued in late 1940. They are scarce in the best of grades due to the fact that most examples circulated extensively. This pack fresh original is completely clean and fresh and far superior to most seen. A very scarce note in this grade, this is the second note in a consecutive serial number pair offered today.
