China People's Bank of China 5 Yuan 1948 Pick 802a S/M#C282-2 PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ. A small denomination in the 1948-50 series, this note had a very short lifespan. Rapidly rising inflation caused the creation of higher and high denominations, making this note irrelevant in a hurry. As such, it is rarely seen today, and that is especially true for those grading Uncirculated. An excellent example of a rare, small denomination banknote.
