Interestingly, the convertibility clause on this denomination specifies "Small Money," indicating that this paper banknote was exchangeable for 10 silver 10 cent coins. Ultimately, this design and type was unissued. Hole punched cancellations are seen. At the time of cataloging, only 12 examples have been graded in the PMG Population Report.
