Description

New South Wales. British Colony 15 Pence (Dump) 1813 G6 NGC, KM1.1. 5.54gm. The first coin struck in and for Australia, made from a cut Spanish Colonial 8 reales with the present inner portion, or "dump", circulating with a value of 15 Pence, while the outer portion (missing here), or "holey dollar", was assigned a value of 5 Shillings.
