Constantinople Commemorative (ca. AD 330-340). AE3 or BI nummus (18mm, 11h). NGC MS. Trier, 1st officina, ca. AD 330-331, struck under Constantine I to commemorate the moving of the Roman capitol from Rome to Constantinople. VRBS-ROMA, helmeted bust of Roma left, wearing imperial cloak / She-wolf standing left, looking back, suckling twins Romulus and Remus; two stars above, TRP• in exergue. RIC VII 522.
