Central American Republic 8 Reales 1846/2 NG-AE/MA AU58 NGC, Nueva Guatemala mint, KM4, WR-11, Elizondo-105, Stickney-C92. CREZCA over CRESCA variety. Clearly rubbed over the very highest portions of the designs, such as the mountain peaks, though these raised areas seem to have protected the lower details and fields surrounding, leaving a specimen which balances antique appearance with quality preservation.
