Central American Republic gold 2 Escudos 1850 CR-JB AU Details (Reverse Scratched) NGC, San Jose mint, KM15, Stickney-C101. Mintage: 7,432. Ideally centered and soundly struck, the fields showing just a light peppering of contact marks, though otherwise free of singular distractions. Despite being designated as scratched on the reverse, we have not be able to locate any singularly noteworthy scratches even under high magnification.
