Meiji Yen Year 11 (1878) MS64 PCGS, KM-YA25.2, JNDA 01-10. Shallow veins variety. A scarce date with the second lowest recorded mintage in the series that remains very difficult to acquire in certified near-gem specifications, and especially elusive in this aesthetic caliber. Dressed in radiating mint brilliance that shimmers across well-rendered devices decorated in heavy autumnal hues yielding to light iridescence.
