Indonesia Bank Indonesia 2500 Rupiah 1960 Pick UNL Specimen PMG Superb Gem Unc 67 EPQ. Unlisted and unissued, this denomination is quite beautiful, but was only prepared in case inflation rose at a precarious rate. Curiously, higher denominations of 5000 and 10,000 Rupiah were included in the 1964 series, but the 1960 series maxed out at 1000 Rupiah. Red overprints are found on both sides of this handsome prototype that was never printed for circulation.
