Description

Louis XV silver Franco-American Jeton 1756-Dated AU58 NGC, Br-517, Lec-163. Reeded edge. Coin alignment. "FM" monogram below neck truncation. Only scant traces of handling are evident to Louis XV's curls on this argent specimen bordering on Mint State preservation. Upon illumination, lustrous peripheries yield boisterous cobalt and lavender hues. NGC incorrectly attributes this as Lec-161, the "R. Filius" signed variety.
