Description
Republic gold 10 Pesos 1871-GW AU Details (Edge Repair) NGC, San Jose mint, KM115. A truly rare offering, with less than 10 confirmed pieces extant, and only seven certified by NGC. Most pieces can be found in Details holders and exhibit various surface issues similar to the current specimen. Bathed in a deep golden patina and retaining plenty of detail to the central devices; allover hairlines and the noted edge repair, likely filing from a mount removal, are noted for the sake of accuracy.
