João VI 640 Reis 1822-R MS61 NGC, Rio de Janeiro mint, KM325.2, LMB-475. Mintage: 565. An elusive issue with only two others noted in the NGC population report; an UNC Details (Cleaned) we offered in December of 2020 and an XF45. By far the most original piece known of this date, imbued with a mottled, allover gunmetal patina.
