A Specimen booklet composed of seven replacement H-A block notes that were each perforated in the field with "SPECIMEN." The light cardstock cover of the booklet reads, "Specimens of Military Yen Currency Area A." These notes have a large "A" underprint and were in use by authorized personnel only in Korea and Japan shortly after World War II.
