Iran Kingdom of Persia, Imperial Bank 2 Tomans 1890-1923 Pick 2 PMG About Uncirculated 50 Net. Excellent eye appeal is present on this well preserved 2 Tomans. It features the B/C prefix, indicating it was issued in or around 1908. As one of the earlier issues, it lacks the payable location overprint, and the serial numbers are in red, not black. The distinctly different serial numbering would lead Persian specialists to seek after this note as a different type than the latter issues. PMG mentions a repair which does not seem to detract from the overall eye appeal.
