LUCANIA. Sybaris. Ca. 550-510 BC. AR stater (27mm, 7.80 gm, 12h). NGC Choice VF 5/5 - 2/5, edge bend. Bull standing left, head right, on beaded double ground line; VM above, beads between double linear border / Obverse, incuse and reversed, without legend. HN Italy 1729. SNG ANS 817-46. Note - although there does not appear to be an ethnic, it is likely as described with ethnic above instead of in exergue. Perhaps the ethnic was removed from the die for some reason?
