Louis XV gold Louis d'Or Mirliton 1724-M UNC Details (Saltwater Damage) NGC, Toulouse mint, KM470.12, Gad-339 (R). Large palms variety. Adjustment marks on the obverse, and reverse, with matte surfaces from constant shifting sand in sea water. Rare. From the 1725 Le Chameau shipwreck (with Parke-Bernet envelope). Sold with old collector envelope detailing provenance.
