By all indications a very challenging date in this series, with only 3 other examples coming to auction in recent years according to our research. While perhaps suffering from some minor environmental exposure, the coin has been struck on a longer planchet, allowing for more of the design to be captured. We note that only the final digit of the date really remains legible, suggesting that the piece could also be dated 146.
