Leopold II silver Proof Restrike "Independence" Franc 1880 PR65 NGC, Bogaert-1220B2. Reeded edge. Sharply struck, with ample field reflectivity and noticeably little handling. While the mintage is unknown, the collector estimates that there are between 5 and 25 pieces struck of this issue. Sold with Administration des Monnaies envelope.
