Leopold I silver Proof Restrike 40 Francs 1834 PR65 NGC, Bogaert-65B1. Plain edge. An enticing off-metal restrike for the gold 40 Francs produced after the Second World War, and patinated with a delightful mélange of autumnal hues. While the mintage is unknown, the collector estimates that there are between 5 and 25 pieces struck of this issue. Sold with Administration de Monnaies envelope.
