Description

Victoria silver Proof Pattern Florin (Decade) 1848 PR66 NGC, KM-Unl., ESC-2935 (R2; prev. ESC-903). Plain edge. Medal alignment. A stunning and conditionally elite selection of this difficult pattern type presenting rich pastel toning carrying vibrant shades of olive, crimson, and gold, joined by a potent display of bright blue reverse iridescence. Held within this beautiful visual context, Victoria's bust is essentially as struck, revealing hardly a trace of handling visible to the naked eye. The offering ranks as the single finest example certified by NGC, a fact that will come as no surprise to those fortunate enough to experience this delightful gem in hand.
