Description

Leopold II Taler 1792-A MS63 PCGS, Vienna mint, KM2100, Dav-1173. Ultra-watery in the fields, with a resulting resounding reflectivity that carries throughout the entirety of the obverse and reverse surfaces. Rare as a type, and extremely so in this superb quality, this is an offering that is easily described as Prooflike or specimen-like in appearance, with only light hairlines present to limit the assigned grade from further heights. Ex. The New York Sale XXVIII (January 2012, Lot 1178)
