Description

Olmutz. Rudolph Johann Taler 1820 MS63 PCGS, Vienna mint, KM494, Dav-41. Sharply struck and decorated in a soft, stone-gray tone, the reverse revealing a glowingly lustrous character. The type bears the portrait of Rudolph Johann, who held the titles of Archduke of Austria, Cardinal, and Archbishop of Olmutz, and who was also a leading patron of the arts and the work of Beethoven.
