Sisowath I gold Matte Specimen "Coronation" Medal 1906 SP64 PCGS, Lec-132 (this piece), Gad-23. 33mm. 19.30gm. By P. Lenoir. A handsome example of this very rare, and largest, medal struck for Sisowath I's coronation, and a type which is much more frequently found in silver. Lavishly executed in matte finish, hardly a stray mark is visible over the surfaces, while a few small copper spots are noted in the obverse legend for the sake of accuracy. Plated in Lecompte's Monnaies et Jetons de l'Indochine Françaises, and highly desirable as such.
