As the initial denomination of the Georgian Calendar series, this design is extremely rare in any form. This uniface pair of front and back Specimen are one of only a few extant. Interestingly, the Specimen numbers on the back of each side do not match, which makes this union even more remarkable. Minor rust, small tears, restorations, and a corner addition are mentioned for accuracy. The first we have offered, examples of this type are assuredly missing from even the best collections of the 1948 to 1953 series.
