China Bank of China 10 Yuan 4.10.1914 Pick 35 S/M#C294-52 PCGS Apparent Very Fine 35. A splendid rarity, only available in issued form as a Remainder, without signatures. This 1914 series features Yuan Shikai, the famed Qing Dynasty military leader. Edge roughness to the top margin is noted on this otherwise wholesome example. Fewer than a dozen of these rare banknotes have been sold in the past decade, stimulating the bidding anytime one appears in auction. Minor surface damage, a small tear, and light stains are mentioned for accuracy on this otherwise pleasing note. An important banknote and very rare in any grade, in any degree of preservation.
