British Colony. Victoria Specimen 5 Cents 1877-H SP66 Red and Brown PCGS, Heaton mint, KM9. One of the famous Heaton Specimens, possibly from the "Heaton Hoard" acquired by Paramount from the mint in the 1970's. A very rare issue, as only a few 1877-H 5 Cents were struck with medal die axis, and the vast majority were made with coin axis. Free of significant flaws, the surfaces retain a great deal more original mint-red color than brown.
