Ottoman Empire. Abdul Aziz 20 Qirsh AH 1277 Year 1 (1861/1862) MS62 NGC, Misr mint (in Egypt), KM260. Very rare as a type, and especially so in this Mint State condition; when found, these pieces are often well-circulated or suffering from heavy cleaning or damage. Light haymarks in the metal as made, and otherwise quite pleasing.
