Saxony. Friedrich August III "Death of Georg" 5 Mark 1904-E MS68 NGC, Muldenhutten mint, KM1262. An absolute jewel of the type replete with soft silver tone that carries prominent areas of intense coloration in the legends, with sapphire and peach hues expressed to a breathtaking degree on the reverse. Likely one of the finest extant, if not so, and certified in the highest degree of quality seen by either PCGS or NGC.
