Markedly original and thoroughly impressive in hand owing to both the type's natural boldness and to a care of preservation which escapes many survivors that have seen a comparable degree of circulation wear. Glowing luster remains over both faces, enhanced by a brass-gold tone that feels entirely appropriate to well-kept example of the period.
