A simply beautiful Specimen, this note was prepared for Maracaibo, the second largest city of Venezuela. The petroleum business exploded in Western Venezuela in the early 20th century, and local currency was required to facilitate commerce. Hole punched cancellations and red overprints are seen on this beautiful Specimen. Rare and visually pleasing.
