Bermuda Bermuda Government 1 Pound 2.12.1914 Pick 1 PMG Very Good 10. The first banknote issued for Bermuda, this interesting piece was also the first note in the Standard Catalog. Only 50,000 notes were printed by the American Bank Note Company in Ottawa, and issued between 1914 and 1927. The small serial number seen on this example indicates an early issuance for this century-old type. Interestingly, some notes are countersigned, however, this note only features the signature of Allan F. Smith. A rarely seen type, this will be missing from many collections.
