Printed by The American Bank Note Company, this early issue features portraits of the Countess and Earl of Minto with "FOUR" in the upper left and right. This was the last of the $4 denominations printed, and was only in issued for a short period, from June to September of 1911, and withdrawn from circulation by the Department of Finance in the beginning of following year. Third party grading company mentions PVC and stained.
