Peter I "Sun" Rouble 1724-CПБ VF35 NGC, St. Petersburg mint, KM166.1, Bit-1320 (R1), Diakov-376. With CПБ under portrait and trefoil above head. A comparatively rare and emblematic rouble type from the extensive numismatic series of Peter the Great, and one which comes in almost universally poor condition. Comparatively high-grade, with just a tinge of backlight to the surfaces, we note that the coin at hand may in fact be slightly finer than indicated, as the strike in the central regions seems rather weak and shallow.
