Cnut (1016-1035) Penny ND (1024-1030) MS65 NGC, Norwich mint, Leofric as moneyer, Pointed Helmet type, S-1158, N-787. 1.07gm. +CNVT R | GLORV:, helmeted bust left, scepter held before / +L•E•OFRIC • ΘN • NOR:, voided short cross with limbs united at base by two circles, pellet in center, broken annulet containing pellet in each quarter. Flawlessly struck with minimal unevenness and no bending to the flan whatsoever.
