Westphalia. Jerome Napoleon tin Specimen Pattern 10 Franken 1813-C SP62 PCGS, cf. KM126.1, cf. VG-2013. Coin alignment. An off-metal Pattern of this gold issue, perhaps struck at the Paris mint in 1867 alongside the known gold restrikes of this type, of which 80 were minted. Undoubtedly extremely rare, the first example we have offered in this metallic composition, and quite nice, the hairlines that define the grade not at all disturbing to the eye, and gleaming with silvery Prooflike reflectivity.
