Description
Republic gold 4 Escudos 1833 So-I VF30 NGC, Santiago mint, KM87. A wholly original piece, with clearly discernable features, and a beautiful aurous glow throughout. A highly coveted early issue, seldom encountered at any grade, the light evidence of circulation in no way detracting from the intrinsic allure this piece is endowed with. Exceedingly rare, as only 321 pieces were minted, this specimen being one of only two certified examples listed by either NGC or PCGS.
