Victoria gold Proof Restrike 10 Rupees 1854 PR63 NGC, KM-Pn19, Fr-1596, S&W-3.21. An extremely rare later restrike issue struck in a Proof format only and not intended for circulation. For this reason, the issue is alternatively referred to by some as a pattern. Regardless, the elusive nature of the type is undisputed, and NGC certification figures support this observation, with a mere 5 examples of the issue certified to-date, none above the PR64 level. A unique opportunity for many of our bidders thus. We note that the current offering previously sold as part of a larger set of Proof issues in our 3075 ANA sale (August 2019, Lot 32280), which together saw a total price realized of $114,000.
