Description
Republic gold Proof Piefort 50 Francs 1975 PR68 Ultra Cameo NGC, Paris mint, KM-P537. Mintage: 74. Bordering on technical perfection for this low-mintage and widely targeted Piefort type and displaying exceptional, clearly mirrored surfaces, these contrasting fully against velveteen golden devices. Only a single example in the NGC Census certifies finer, with no others ranking at this offering's grade level. Sold with Monnaie de Paris certificate of authenticity numbered "LXIV".
