A commendable conditional survivor nearly dripping with golden luster, its surfaces combining satiny and shimmering qualities to tremendous visual effect. The norm for the series, and for gold of this period, is certainly some amount of circulation and/or heavier handling, and yet this offering demonstrates neither, its sleek faces unmarred by even the most trivial cases of contact that might be considered distracting. Lightly speckled in the fields from a strike with rusted dies, lending further character to this charming piece.
